Northern Colorado Carpets is a family owned, local business that started back in 1976 with one van and a few rolls of carpet. During those early years, we decided that having a small business philosophy of personalized customer service, fair pricing, and quality over quantity type inventories would better serve our customers.

In keeping with the above mentioned approach, NCC has grown to take on larger commercial and residential projects with carpet, tile, vinyl, hardwood, bamboo, cork, and laminate floors that can all be found in our 12,500 square feet of showroom and warehouse in Fort Collins.

MEET THE FOUNDER – DOCK KRASUSKI
“Dock” Krasuski moved to Loveland, Colorado in 1956 when he was 7 years old. Shortly after, his parents opened up their own small carpet store. He helped the family out and tried to learn as much as he could by following his dad around on job sites. When Dock graduated from Loveland High School in 1966, he went on to attend and graduate from Colorado State University; the first person in his family to do so.
Dock knew he wanted to be a business owner and enjoyed working with his hands and with people. In the early 70s, he perfected his floor covering skills and knowledge and began the process of creating his own small business. In 1976, Northern Colorado Carpets was born. Today, he has enjoyed watching his business grow and supporting the community he grew up in through various school, youth, and athletic sponsorships.

Northern Colorado Carpets considers it an honor to serve those who served. We greatly value our Veterans, their sacrifice, and the sacrifice made by their families. Our owner, Derek Krasuski, is a Veteran himself and served 8.5 years in the US Army.
He was a Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment for five years and Officer with 1st Bn/3rd Special Forces Group (A) for his last three. With six combat deployments, Derek understands the hardships that go along with them.
